The experiments were conducted during 2011-2012 in the laboratories of  Biology Department, Faculty of Science and Health, Koya University , Kurdistan region Iraq by using completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. The effects of aqueous   extracts of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) and oak gall (Quercus infectoria L.) the concentrations were (0, 10, 20 and 25 %) of raw extracts to control growth of  Penicillium spp. and Cladosporium spp. By using  different times  of incubation . The results revealed that    Penicillium spp. was more sensitive to both extracts  than cladosporium spp..
